1:12 Scale Circuit Racing Championship Rules

This 1:12 Scale indoor race series, sponsored by Harlequin Racing is a fun RC Race series for all age groups, and all driving abilities! The following rules have been put in place to keep the racing close & costs down.
1:12 Scale Rules 2007/08

CLASS 1:12 Scale Circuit cars, 4 cell.
MOTORS 19T, 27T, 10.5 & 13.5 motors are legal for this series.
PLEASE NOTE There will be a "top stock racer" award at the end of the season if this class is well supported.
PLEASE NOTE If brushless motors are deemed to be an unfair advantage a penalty system may be put in place.
TYRES We are running control tyres for the series championship - Jaco Grey rear and Jaco purple front (prism or doughnut).
PLEASE NOTE Guests racers are welcome to race other tyres makes if they wish, but will not qualify for champ points and will be asked to conform to the championship rules if they become regular racers.
BODYSHELLS Any 1:12 circuit bodyshell based on LeMans style cars may be used.
WEIGHT & DIMENSIONS 800g min weight of car. 172mm max width.
TYRE ADDATIVE Any addative from the BRCA 1:12 scale "odourless addative" list may be used:
  • Corally TC2 (Jack the Gripper) Silver can - pink writing (13779)
  • LRP Top Traction (Blue Factor) White can - blue writing (6501)
  • Orion Street Juice (TC Traction F1) clear bottle - purple writing (44101)
  • Orion Foam Juice Formula clear bottle – yellow writing (44105)
  • CS Grip Tyre Conditioner – High Grip clear bottle white label (C6400) - Or short tin can - white and yellow label (C6400)
  • Speedtech Foam Liquid - Short tin can - white label (No part number)

THESE RULES MAY BE ADDED TO & / OR ADAPTED AS THE SEASON DEVELOPS
